Landmark\'s Investment Outlook for the second half of 2011

Welcome to Landmark’s half yearly investment forecast. The first six months of 2011 have continued to provide us with economic and political news which has led to uncertainty and confusion over the direction of world markets.

Global economies continue to try to solve their problems. In the US and Europe, they include huge deficits, combined with low growth and rising inflation. In the emerging market economies, strong growth has led to rising inflation.

Whilst there is no clear consensus on where economies will be at the end of 2011, we are perhaps coming to the end of the US programme of Quantative Easing and the true effects for capital markets and asset prices will become apparent.
