Landmark’s Blog
Changing world
Published on 15th September, 2009 at 09:32 by Eric Mowinski B.Sc.
Listening to recent investment reports it seems the global investment environment is changing.
I recently read an article written by Bill Gross of Pimco. His view is well regarded in the investment world and it was interesting to me that he outlined some of the key investment issues facing investors over the next few years.
In his article titled “On the course to a new normal” he describes a world which may be dominated by the emerging countries such as China and those in Asia. In the US, capital growth will be driven by public expenditure.
I have been writing in this blog for some time that markets will change and infact equity returns will be under pressure in 2010 as the recession bites further. In this new environment it is important for investors to make sure that they have the right allocation of assets moving forward and now is as good a time as ever to consider their position.
